Is formatting a drive enough before disposal?
No. Formatting or deleting does not erase the data and it can be recovered. We use NIST 800-88 secure wiping or physical destruction of storage media.
What is the difference between secure wiping and physical destruction?
Secure wiping overwrites all data and keeps the device reusable; physical destruction destroys the storage medium and suits damaged or highly sensitive devices.
Can data be destroyed at our premises?
Yes. We destroy storage media on-site at your office or branch, so it never leaves the building before destruction; devices are then taken to our plant for recycling. Service details.
Will I receive a data destruction certificate?
Yes. The certificate and final report are issued within 14 days of pickup, and we keep a digital copy for 7 years. Certificate details.
How long does pickup take?
Usually 3 to 7 days from the request. Very large shipments (over 10 tonnes) can take up to two weeks.
